Hi! My name is Maribel Cervantes and I'm a senior and project manager. From experiencing the GBLA competition I hope to add positive change to our community while encouraging my fellow girls into being more confident.

Ofelia Garcia

Hi! My name is Ofelia Noemi Garcia Prado and I am a senior. This year I am both the project and social media manager. I joined GBLA three years ago with the aspiration of making a difference in my community. After an air quality app and an immigration fair, I aim to make a difference in my school tackling sexual harassment. I hope to understand more about how the justice system helps/hurts victims while learning more about engineering and app development principles.

Hello! My name is Stephanie and I'm a senior in the Software and Development team. I hope to help our community this year by implementing technology so that the community can be aware of what's going on and understand how technology can be beneficial to our daily lives

Daniela Martinez 

Hi, I am Daniela Montero. I am a sophomore and form part of the Website team. I joined Girls Build LA in order to be able to make the community both a safer and better place. In joining GBLA, I hope to be able to bring awareness to my community about the dangers of sexual harassment.

Azalia Escalera

Hi, my name is Azalia Escalera and I am a senior and the leader of the Videography team. I am also part of the design team. I have joined GBLA to create products that have a useful purpose and have an impact on a certain visible issue within my community

Emily Santos 

Hello, i'm Emily Santos and I am a freshman. I am apart of the design team. I have joined GBLA to help begin my path towards advocacy for many social injustice issues. In joining GBLA I hope I can experience many new things that I normally wouldn't, such as marches and many more events that better our communities.​

​Hi, I’m Mariana Gomez and I am a freshman and I am a part of the outreach team as well as the file manager. I have joined GBLA to be able to make a change and help our community to make it a better environment alongside my team.

Sharo Perez

Hello, my name is Sharo Perez  and I am currently a freshman and part of the website team. The reason why I decided to join GBLA is because I wanted to make sure to be able to be part of a change in our community. The other reason why I wanted to join is so people can feel safe when walking around the streets. I hope to accomplish this by been part of the project that we are all working on that will hopefully help our community.

Hello! My name is Andrea Castillo and I am a sophomore at Lennox Academy. I am leader of the photography team and part of the website team. I have joined GBLA in order to help bring attention and a solution to a serious worldwide problem, sexual harassment.
